LADIES: Do you find that your mascara/eye make up in general ALWAYS looks better on one eye than the other?

My mascara always looks sooo much better on my left eye... my right one always gets all gloppy and I can not figure out why!LADIES: Do you find that your mascara/eye make up in general ALWAYS looks better on one eye than the other?
i dont wear make-up :P...pure beauty all the way lolLADIES: Do you find that your mascara/eye make up in general ALWAYS looks better on one eye than the other?
It all depends on how you hold your brush and what hand you apply it with. Have you ever tried crossing your arms to apply mascara? I have tried it...and it looked the same as before with me. But then again I have even eyes and my eyelashes are pretty much the same on each eye so I don't really have problems with it ';looking better.'; Perhaps your eyelashes need to grow in more on your right...perhaps you go to bed with makeup on? It is not good for your skin or hair at all and is the main cause of pimples and facial blemishes.
ALWAYS!!!!!
Haha, yes.

It always looks better on the right.

;p
yes, each of my eyes has different lashes. It's so irritating. So...I have long bangs that cover the right side. LOL. Problem solved I guess!
Yup..don't know if it's the way I put it on or if one eye is shaped differently...
haha, yes.
yess lol . my mascara always looks better on the left ..

How do you get mascara on ur lower eye without getting it all over yourself?

I always try to put mascara on my lower eye but i always mess up does anybody have any suggestionsHow do you get mascara on ur lower eye without getting it all over yourself?
well, first i put baby powder all around my eyelids and under the eye. k, sounds weird but for me it helps clean up the makeup. then, i put on the mascara ( i have a small brush so maybe that helps) but i angle it to get all the lashes. then i wet my finger and wipe up the smears. How do you get mascara on ur lower eye without getting it all over yourself?
Istead of putting it on like you would think, I put mine on from the bottom to the top so that it doesn't clump and also doesn't smear. To make the lashes still look long, wait until they are almost dry, and curl them. If you absolutely can't do this, buy a great eye makeup remover, like one from beauticontrol (called lash and lid bath) If you buy a good one it will come off easily and not take up extra time. Hope I helped!
Take your brush and go from side to side gently along your lashes. %26lt;%26lt;---%26gt;%26gt;

Do not put it on like you would your upper lashes.

If you do get some mascara on your skin, take a Q-tip and lightly wet the tip and run it under your lashes along your eye to get off any excess.
Hold a tissue gently between your lower eyelid, and your lashes.

Then you can go crazy with the lower lash mascara, and not have it all over your face.
very carefully stroke your lower lashes with the brush side to side.

If you have a smaller sized mascara wand it makes it alot easier.
I would blink when I put it on and it doesnt get anywhere.

Is black eyeliner, mascara and eye shadow too much for a blonde on prom night?

I'm a blonde with pale skin and hazel eyes. My dress is a classic black dress. I want to step up my makeup, but don't want to wear too much. I tried on some black mascara, eyeliner and the top of my lashes and a thin line on my lower lashes and black eyeshadow only to the creases. Is this too much makeup? If so, what should I take away? Or would brown/black mascara look better and use brown eyeliner? Again, I want it to be a little fancier for prom.Is black eyeliner, mascara and eye shadow too much for a blonde on prom night?
No this is a very good combination to go with your blonde hair. It's a nice contrast and you can't go wrong with black. Just make sure that you don't put ANY mascara on your bottom lashes as this tends to sweat and drip down your face, and since it's your prom, you want to look amazing. Is black eyeliner, mascara and eye shadow too much for a blonde on prom night?
I would say to go with the black eyeliner and mascara but change the eye shadow color to something besides black like a veyr light grey so you dont look all blonde gothic unless you want to be gothic or are. But so far sounds good just change the color of eye shadow to a lighter one. Also you could go to a makeup artist at the mall or somewhere like that and they sometimes do free makeovers to match your outfit, just show the dress and they can make you look awesome. HOPE I HELPED!
Experiment before your prom... try all together, try a couple together. If your still in doubt take pictures of the dress and take it to a professional and ask them what they think is the best solution

good luck and have fun ';
i am also a blonde...i used brown/black mascara and it worked perfectly! try some light black shimmer or add some color to your dress with colored crystals then add that color to your make up. also colored eyeliner might look fun! so jus try it be creative and you just might have the best outfit there! hope it helped
black eyeliner go all out hunny
you can get away with more make up at night but don't go overboard on anything the heavier you put on makeup the cheaper you'll look
Make an appt to have your make-up applied at the Mac counter. Have them put false lashes on the top and bottom too.
As long as you blend/smudge the eye pencil yo will be fine.
I am by no means an expert on makeup, so I'll say, ';Don't look like a raccoon'; by over-doing it. When you get your hair done (maybe you won't need that?) the people at the shop should be able to help you with professional knowledge. Prom is a rare occasion and worth extra effort and planning. I hope you have a fabulous time and please, don't ride with anyone who has had even one (1) drink!!! (I know you are smarter than that from your question though). :-)
I think you should apply black mascra and eyeliner(but not liquid) ,khol and try to use very dark tone of the color u want for eyeshadow and then step up with lighter till under brows then put pearly white or very light gold.....or for a fancy look u may put black mascara and eyeliner and kohl and put a natural colored eyeshadow then put matte red or fuschia or any strong color for lipstick....hope u like the idea.Good Luck.
I think so. I would go for a smoky look. It would make you look more mysterious Too much dark makeup around the eyes can make you look gothic. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with gothic, but it sounds like you want a lighter prettier look. Try black/brown mascara, grey or silver eyeliner, and a lavender or something like it eye shadow. If you smudge the eyeliner, it looks more smoky and sultry. I think that would be a more desired look for you. Play around with different colors and combos until you come up with the one you like.

Good luck and have a great time!
no it is not. as long as your dress has enough black to match it. and dont do black lips. try pink or red.
Wear it everyday! To keep from looking tacky, use just lip gloss and liner, no bright lipstick. Lips and eyes should not fight with eachother
i am also a blonde with pale skin.

i use brown-black mascara and charcoal eyeliner and it looks good.

but too black can look strange on blondes.

hope this helps!
yes
This combination sounds fine except for the black eyeshadow. I'd recommend not putting any eyeshadow on at all.
no your fine just dont make it look goth
Use a smokey color all around the eye to bring out your beautiful hazel eyes without pulling off the Goth look :) oh, dont forget the apricot gloss :)
Don't use the brown since your dress is black and it will look like you can't tell the difference. Everything sounds fine but you might want to tone down the eyeshadow a little and make sure you smudge the eyeliner for a smoky, shadowy look. Have fun.
You can keep all of them, just be careful to not go to dark. Stick with a lighter eyeshadow especially at the creases by your nose, this will make your eyes look bigger and sexier!

Have fun at Prom!
some girls in my year (year 9) just pile on make up foundation, powder and everything everyday so i don't think it's to much at all!
dramatic is always best for prom. If you're worried about overdoing It i would stick to a shimmery tanish color for eyeliner, a simple thing line of black eyeliner on top and bottom, two coats of black mascara for top eyelashes, one even coat for the bottom. Or perhaps, to perfect the look a lil more, skip the mascara and apply false lashes (the pretty kind, not the halloween kind) I did this and they looked dramatic and perfected without me worrying about getting the perfect nonclumping, thickening, lengthening mascara!

Go all out! Prom is only once..(Well, unless you're me., I dated older guys so i went all four years of high school, lol)

What is a good mascara to intensify my eye color?

I have dark blue-ish green-ish eyes.

Also, if you have/know of a really good mascara,, I would really appreciate it if you would give me the name of it, brand, etc.

Thank you!=]What is a good mascara to intensify my eye color?
L'oreal double extend. What is a good mascara to intensify my eye color?
Brown eyeliner will really bring out the green and gray will bring out the blue. I have the covergirl lashblast mascara and I love it. It works well in waterproof and regular and it lengthens and volumizes your lashes. It's about 6 dollars but well worth it. Btw, waterproof will hold the curl in your lashes longer if you curl them =]
The perfect mascara for you eyes would be either a brown, deep blue or dark green. (not sure you are going to be able to find the green too easily) though these colours would go excellent with your eye colour really make your eye colour pop.. lol

Just have a look at a colour wheel they will show you what colour goes best with which.

I use Revlon telecope.. the brush makes my lashes perfect!.
The new Covergirl Eye Enhancers. You can get it at any drugstore, Target, Walmart, ext.
almay makes mascara/eyeshadow/eye liner that intensify the color of you eye it comes for blue green hazel eyes and one other it works very well and can be found at any drugstore or walmart type store
Cover Girl Eyelights mascara. Get the kind for blue eyes. The mascara is navy so it makes your eyes pop. I love it!
I had that same problem. Try darker browns, but stay away from black! Browns won't overpower your natural eye color, but they do provide some accent.
you should try cover girl lash blast. it comes in a orange container.

Does mascara make your eye lashes grow thicker?

I recently started wearing mascara on a daily basis and I am noticing that even on days I don't wear it, my lashes look thicker and fuller and overall better. I clean it off every night with eye make-up remover, so it's not caking on day after day...Does mascara make your eye lashes grow thicker?
Nope i don't think so. But who knows I could be wrong but I've never heard of anything like this. I'll be curious to know if it's actually true though.Does mascara make your eye lashes grow thicker?
Nope they do not make your eye lashes grow any thicker, they only make it look that way! using an eye lash curler after applying mascara makes them look even better :)
I have never heard that mascara makes your eyelashes grow thicker, a better diet yes.

What mascara has as a secret ingredient is fiber, and upon application it makes the eyelash look longer and wider upon application.
no they just look thicker, stay away from waterpro. save that for only weddings and funerals.
no not usually they just make them

look longer and thicker
not that i know of...mascara only gives the illusionof thicker eyelashes.
They dont make them grow thicker just look thicker and longer when you have mascara on... idk how they do it but its cool because your eyelashes look pretty! :)

Maybe its because you take care of them really well. good job a lot of people dont... like me :(
It makes them look thicker..you would need rogaine to make your hair grow thicker
I know someone who swore that caster oil applied nightly and removed in the morning would thicken lashes.
no it makes them look thicker
No, mascara only gives the thicker appearence but does not make them grow any thicker. If you want to make them look even thicker try putting eye liner as close as you can get to the eyelash line. i hope i helped =)
