Is there a way to wear it inappropriately??

Be sure to do the top lashes first waiting until they dry (about 40 seconds) before you do the bottom or you risk smudging... While doing the top lashed be sure to roll the brush in an upward position as you work your way from the base to the tip of the lash. Always give enough time to dry to prevent smudging!! Turn the mascara brush vertically and sweep it very gently across the lower lashes while looking up to widen your eyes.
i only put a little bit since i put more on my top lashes and they are already pretty long bcuz if not they end up looking like spiders so hope this helps a bit lol
I don't really put it on my bottom lashes b/c it smudges easily
