I'm only going for one night and day, so i really don't need all the luggage. But I don't want to go with just a carry on and than have to throw away all my makeup!!I'm going on a trip, are you allowed to take eye liner and mascara on a carry on?
yes you can.
Buy a clear Ziploc 1 quart size and whatever makeup, toothpaste, any toiletry in a 3 onz bottle or less you fit in there, you can take. But if you have a perfume bottle of 5 onz and the perfume inside left is about 1 onz you cannot take, the container is the one that has to be 3 onz or less.

They usually give you plastic bags to put liquids in. Have to be less than a certain amount, shouldn't be a problem though and really you need not take it out yourself and show it to them.
