Goshh, my parents are so controlling ughh, im almost an adult :[My parents don't let me wear any eye-liner, or mascara. Are there any makeup choices? ?
Ok, recently I've started not to use eyeliner to look more natural. So what I do it use a color of eyes shadow that bring out my eyes, then cover my lid with it then underline my eye at the bottom just as you would with eyeliner. I always get tons of compliments, so yea, it works! haha.
Remember, less is more! Your beautiful with or without makeup :]
So along with that we can incorporate everything else you can use.
1. Put on cover up usually under your eyes, and over any pimple.
2.Use a light natural foundation to even out your skin tone (if you can use foundation)
3.Line your eyes with a nice, light, natural shade of eyes shadow. (light blue, green, pink, beige, gold)
4.Apply blush very lightly on the apples of your cheeks. (more so along your cheek bone)
5. Apply a chapstick
6.Apply glossy, shine lip gloss
*TIPS*
-to brighten up your eyes, apply a very light shade of a beige or pink to the tear duct of your eyes. This way you will seem more alert and awake!
-When applying eyes shadow, you shouldn't go above your eye lid with the shadow or else it begins to look cheap. Instead match your natural colored shadow on your lid with a bright shadow in the crease of your eyes. Depending on the color of eye shadow you have, you can use that to line your eyes. As for the mascara, I believe Neutrogena has a product that you can put on your lashes called 'Clean Lash Tint', which is kinda like a compromise between mascara and colorless (clear) mascara. Perhaps your parents would let you try that.
To make it look like your wearing eyeliner but not to disappoint
your parents try getting a very small eyeshadow brush and moisten
it and then twirl it around in a black eyeshadow case. Your brush will
now look completely black at the tip. Brush a light line where eyeliner
would go on top of your eye and a VERY light line under your eye.
Then use a normal sized brush to brush a brown or tan eyeshadow
on your eye then a color like blue or green or purple over the tan or
brown. Use your finger to blend the eyeshadow into the eyeliner on
top of the eye but be careful not to smudge the ';eyeliner'; just blend.
Wear a natural pink lipstick with this look. :)
Well wear whatever color eyeshadow but you can use a dark shade of brown and apply it to your lash line to make it appear like eyeliner.. It works. Could you possibly try clear mascara? You could also curl your eyelashes. A good lip gloss is necessary, and Cover-up and foundations are a must. Everyone needs nice skin.

Some people say that u dun need to wear makeup to look pretty and im sure that u are pretty enough so u dont need to but same with me my parents don't let me wear those things either and i get pissed off lol
maybe u can just sneek it at school if you really want to wear it and take it off right when you get home

Which one makes the eye look brighter, refreshed and pop out? Mascara or eye liner?
I can't wear both... I just can't. so which one is better?
I am tanned.

Try using liquid liner on your upper eyelash line and using black eyeliner then white on your water line to make your eyes POP more :D

If you would prefer mascara, i use cover girl exact eye lights and pick the black mascara because that's the one they assigned for brown eyes. It makes my eyes POP a lot :D

Ive just started using diorshow mascara and i like it. But for eyeshadows and eyeliners you definitely have to use MAC they have the best variety and their eyeliners are really cool. Actually any mac user will tell you the eyeshadows are the best. After i posted my answer i saw all the other ones....see mac shadows are great, majority rules...hahaha

Is it bad to leave eye liner and mascara on overnight?
Well, it would suck if you lost your eyelashes....but I've been leaving my masacara and eyeliner AND eyeshadow on for years because I forget to wash it off. Nothing has ever happened to me. I just rub it all into my eyes in the morning and it gets all over my hands and face. Then I look like a raccoon and my dad makes fun of me lol. Okay, so it doesn't cause pimples. But it does sprinkle age-spots on your eye area, and I don't know of many who would want that. And as for eyelashes, yes, they grow back, but they will grow back damaged and brittle and delicate forever. And if you do it too often, it won't grow back. Seriously. So don't be lazy and pull out the makeup remover.
Its a good idea to start a ritual of removing all your make-up and washing your face with a good cleanser then moisturizing every night before bed..
Reason is .. You might not notice now but as you get older.. this will keep your skin glowing and healthier...
And even tho you are tired.. try to take the time removing the mascara.. just so you look refreshed in the morning and not all smeared from that stuff.. :)

yes, the mascara flakes can get into your eyes and start to scratch and irritate your eyes. it may look better in the morning to have that dark eyeliner smudged look, but trust me, its way better to just smudge the eyeliner yourself than to sleep with makeup on

The one with oil is for waterproof makeup, and if you don't have waterproof makeup on, it just makes your eyes look greasy and feel weird... the one in the blue bottle works much better! it's not as bad as leaving foundation on overnight. when i was a heavy drinker, i would keep those ponds makeup remover towelettes on my nightstand, so i could drunkenly get all the makeup off my face without having to deal with the sink and all that stuff. they're the best-better than mac, lancome, etc.. good for sensitive eyes and skin.

What I use is Ponds clean sweep ( I think that's what it's called) and the product provides you with mosturizing wipes that get rid of all forms of make-up. The formula that Ponds use cleans your pores and leaves you skin feeling soft and clean.

Is it possible to ruin my eye lashes by wearing tons of mascara?
i am 17 and wear tons of mascara everyday. does this mean that by the time im 30 or older, i will have fefw eyelashes left?

I've found that my eyelashes are fuller if I take a break from mascara for a couple days.

My friends mother was wearing mascara since she was about 12 and now she's about 60 and she practically has no eyelashes. If you don't wear it everyday and you don't wear a ton, not a lot of damage will be done.

I don't think it will ruin them as long as you wash it off before you go to bed every night. Use a good eye makeup remover that doesn't contail oil to it.

What I do..is put my finger right beside my eye, and blink.
The finger gets the mascara that would normally come off...but still leaves enough on there to make your eyes beautiful as always.
Maybe try a new mascara.
Maybelline has some great ones..

you can stop using it and just use an eyelash curler, or you can just put the mascara on the very tips of the lash so it doesnt touch your lid. dont put mascara on your bottom lashes. you can also use a tissue to wipe down the mascara wand so it doesnt have too much extra stuff on it before you use it. the less you use, the better. i wear mascara every day and that never happens :P

Well i suggest you wear clear mascara for the bottom lashes. I mean to be honest, you're not even supposed to wear it on bottom lashes but how tempting it is! Clear mascara doesn't smudge but still gives the eyelashes volume..

On your bottom lashes just put the mascara on the ends, don't go all the way back. It helps

Try to use a kind that doesnt clump and what ever you do DONT rub your eyes, and always look in mirrors to make sure it isn't getting smudged.
this is happening because of the natural oils on your face... if you are using foundation.. tinted moisturizer.. concealer.. and other things of that sort on your face.. it could be from the natural oils and the makeup oils. First, you need to eliminate the oils (apply loose powder is a good start.) second, buy a good quality mascara that can be found at sephora. Also, if you wear eyeliner.. there are oils in that too. I dont know where youre from.. but if you live in a humid climate.. it could be that too. Another thing, mascara has oil ingredients =)

Instead of putting the mascara on the top and the bottom rows of ur lashes but put it at the top it helps i get that some times too. but if you put in on the top it helps. try and hope it helps!
