1) Try one cup of ammonia to 2 litres of warm water and sponge the area with a clean cloth gently. Repeat until the stain has gone.
2) 2 tablespoons of salt dissolved in 1/2 cup white vinegar and add 2 tablespoons of borax. Apply to the stain and allow to dry, the vacuum.
3) Spray the stain with WD-40 onto the stain, wait a minute or two and then use your regular carpet cleaner or gently cleanse with a sponge and warm, soapy water. Continue until the stain is gone.
It is always best to test any mixtures on an inconspicuous part of the carpet to check for colour changes.
Hope this helps and good luck!!!
Have a great day/night.
xx KIs it possible to remove spilt eye-mascara from a short pile carpet. - Thanks?
Soda water is fantastic....the bubbles must do something as I have removed even blood with it.
1001 carpet cleaner is also one of the best.

Try using some eye makeup remover on it or some kind of alcohol based product. Vinegar also good for cleaning up stuff but it does stink!
Yes , I think here on Yahoo Answers most thing麓s are possible. Add a small amount of dish washing liquid, rub in with your finger tips , then work in towards of the stain with cold water and a sponge. This should remove the stain. Once you have rinsed all the soap away , and are sure the stain is out, lay a towel with a heavy object on top of the damp area, This will help soak up any remaining water from the underside of your carpet, Then allow to dry with natural air
Use WD-40.
Spray the stain with WD-40, wait a minute or two and then use a carpet cleaner or gently cleanse with a sponge and warm, soapy water. Continue until the stain is completely gone.
Hope this was useful!
